Responsible Sourcing

Responsible sourcing is a sub-theme of sustainable development.

Responsible sourcing addresses the impacts of producing goods and services on people and places, throughout the supply chain.

Using responsible sourcing standards helps reduce the risk of negative social and environmental impacts associated with production. It also provides customers with the confidence that goods and services have been produced in an environmentally friendly, ethical and socially responsible way, thus reducing their risks.
