When a local council classifies a premises as Class 1 or 2, the Department of Health requires a documented food safety program to be in place.
Following a successful audit, BSI will issue a Certificate of Adequacy confirming compliance.
Requirements: Class 1 & 2 Victoria premises must have documented safety program per Health Dept.
Certificate confirming the facility meets the Victorian Food Act and AUS NZ Food Standards Code.
Non-standard template audit: Independent food safety audit is mandatory.
