Named as one of SHP magazine’s Most Influential Individuals in health and safety in 2021, Kate is BSI’s global health, safety and well-being expert. She has over 20 years of experience across all sectors, and as the author of the BSI’s Prioritizing People Model© helps us understand the impact digitization has on building workplace trust, engagement and well-being.

Dr Nicola J. Millard, Principal Innovation Partner, BT Digital Solutions

Half social scientist, half technologist, all academic, Nicola uses a cross-disciplinary approach to drive innovation in both employee and customer experience. In her long and varied career with BT she was part of the first application of AI into BT’s call centres, BT’s first experiments with home working, and she also helped to develop a new way of measuring customer experience – ‘net easy’ – for the company. With a PhD from Lancaster University, she’s a regular presenter at conferences and keynote sessions, as well as making appearances on radio and TV.
