    Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is recognised as a major global health challenge. Gaelic Laboratories wanted to demonstrate to customers, partners and stakeholders that its manufacturing practices support efforts to minimise the environmental risks associated with antibiotic production.

    With increasing awareness of the challenges of AMR and the role that manufacturers can play in reducing risk of AMR in the environment, the organization wanted to be ‘future ready’ in a world that is increasingly aware of the problem, and might in future place those demands more directly on manufacturers.
