Founded in Ukraine in 2011, Ajax Systems was established to deliver best-in-class security and automation tools to protect homes and businesses worldwide. Easy to install and intuitive to use, the system is fully managed via smartphone or laptop.
From the start, the company was committed to meeting key regulatory requirements, including the UK’s Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) regulations and securing the BSI Kitemark.
Ajax recognised that to gain credibility and competitive advantage, it required independent verification from a trusted certification body. That trust would ultimately allow it to align certification efforts with its core mission of delivering secure, high-quality technology.
This milestone highlights Ajax’s commitment to delivering high-quality, market-ready solutions that meet top standards for safety and security. To streamline certification, Ajax pursued simultaneous testing across its range of mains- and battery-powered smoke, heat, and CO alarms.
In addition to PSTI, the products met CE, UKCA, and UAE CoC requirements. The ultimate goal was the BSI Kitemark, recognised as the gold standard in performance and trust. BSI’s Alarm Systems lab managed the full test programme, speeding up certification and enabling a faster market launch.
