2 December 2025: A new partnership has been agreed to help organizations in Europe and beyond navigate the challenge of complex supply chains, meet EU and global regulatory requirements and ensure sustainable and responsible sourcing practices, at a time when the possibility of disruption is increasingly prevalent.
It follows recent BSI research, which found that more than half (54%) of organizations reported experiencing a significant supply chain disruption in the past 12 months, yet fewer than 1 in 3 had the systems, data, or response structures in place to mitigate the downstream impact in real time.
The agreement will see BSI, the business improvement and standards company, team up with IntegrityNext, a leading provider of supply chain sustainability software. It will enable organizations across all sectors – from manufacturing to financial services - have greater visibility over their supply chain, and improve traceability.
In our interconnected world, supply chain disruptions can strike at any moment without warning. New regulations – such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) – require organizations to trace product origins, monitor environmental and social impacts, and embed sustainability into procurement decisions. As a result, procurement is no longer just about cost and efficiency – it has become a critical lever for compliance, resilience, and long-term performance.
