    We proudly hosted the International Electrotechnical Commission's General Meeting in 2024 and achieved the following:

    • Created £4 million in economic impact for Edinburgh and the wider Scottish economy.

    • Ran four public showcase days on AI, Net Zero, Smart Cities and Quantum Technologies.

    • Engaged local leaders, academia and businesses to build long-term partnerships.

    • Sent zero waste to landfill and donated meals, tours, and funds to social causes.

    • Certified to ISO 20121 for sustainable event management, a first for BSI and the IEC GM.
