At your own pace, learn how to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, meet your organization’s environmental targets and save money. You’ll also undertake a practical project to solve a real issue within your own organization.

This distance learning course will typically last between 12-18 months’ of part-time study, including an estimated 360 hours of course time, leading to the Energy Institute Level 2 - Certificate of competence in the fundamentals of energy management.

There are 14 learning elements that are practical and work-focused, covering technical and managerial aspects of energy management.

Your tutor will support you with continuous assessment through written assignments.

Qualification

On successful completion of the course, students are awarded the Energy Institute level 2 qualification, the Certificate of competence in the fundamentals of energy management. This gives candidates a qualification as a professional Energy Manager, having all the competencies required to do the job successfully.
