    About Superfeet

Superfeet Worldwide is a global leader in premium insoles, trusted by millions of customers across North America, Europe, and Asia. As its sustainability program matured, the company set an ambitious goal to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 52% by 2030.

    The Challenge

Developing a practical strategy to reduce Scope 3 emissions across a complex global value chain.

Despite reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 59%, Superfeet's Scope 3 footprint continued to grow, increasing from approximately 7,300 MT CO₂e in 2021 to 8,500 MT CO₂e in 2024. Purchased materials, product complexity, global logistics, and rising manufacturing costs were key drivers. Modelling showed emissions could exceed 11,500 MT CO₂e by 2030 under a business-as-usual scenario, creating a significant gap between projected performance and the company's target to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 52% by 2030.

    The Solution

Building a science-aligned Scope 3 Carbon Reduction Management Plan

BSI Consulting partnered with Superfeet to build a clear pathway to Scope 3 reductions. By combining emissions forecasting, scenario modelling, and financial analysis, Superfeet gained the insights needed to prioritize action, support business growth, and accelerate progress toward its 2030 goals.
