Lean Six Sigma is an improvement management system adopted by many organizations to drive operational excellence. This can be achieved through the successful execution of Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.

If your organization implements Lean Six Sigma and needs effective project team members, then this course is ideal. You’ll develop the skills to become a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt to support driving improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Please note that this training will be held in English!

Prerequisites

Attendance to the following BSI training course:

Lean Six Sigma White Belt training course, or through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process

Pedagogical objectives

You’ll be able to:

Understand the foundational concepts of problem-solving methodologies within the context of Lean Six Sigma
Demonstrate proficiency in leading problem-solving teams through the 8-step process, facilitating effective collaboration and decision-making
Select and apply each of the 7 basic tools, accurately analyse and interpret data for problem-solving initiatives
Establish a direct link between effective problem-solving techniques and the overarching goals of quality management and corrective action planning within organizational frameworks

Upon completion of this training, you'll be able to:
- Discuss the concept of problem solving
- Lead problem solving teams through the 8-step process
- Select and correctly utilize each of the 7 basic tools
- Relate effective problem-solving techniques to the management of quality and corrective action planning
Associate/assistant engineers, senior technicians, executives/officers, and/or anyone who is a member of the Lean Six Sigma team.
- Questionnaire to assess the knowledge at the end of the training
- Customer survey
Course materials including:
- Introduction to the training, detailed program and security assignments
- Course presentation, theory and activities/roles plays
- Answers to the activities
- Videos
- Additional documents, distributed during the sessions, to use for the activities
- Attendance sheet to be signed
- Course materials, provided electronically
- Letter of attestation
- Official certificate
