Energy BSI Kitemark™ Schemes

As consumers become increasingly concerned with energy consumption and environmental issues, it is important for organizations to demonstrate that steps have been taken to improve resource efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The following BSI Kitemark schemes offer organizations ways to certify their carbon emission reductions and demonstrate their products meet the necessary requirements.

BSI Kitemark™ for Energy Reduction Verification

The new BSI Kitemark Energy Reduction Verification provides organizations with a means to prove their reductions in carbon dioxide emission resulting from energy use.  In addition to satisfying internal stakeholders, certification to this BSI Kitemark scheme will enable those organizations required to participate in the Government’s Carbon Reduction Energy Efficiency Scheme to benefit from the Early Action Metric and a better position on the Performance League Table.

BSI Kitemark™ for Window Energy Rating

Based on the approved document L1B of the Building Regulations companies achieving a B rating under the BSI scheme will be eligible to apply for the Energy Savings Trust Recommended scheme.
