As AI systems become more prevalent and powerful, it's essential that we understand and manage their impact on individuals, communities, and society as a whole. This is where AI impact assessments come into play.

An AI impact assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of how an AI system may affect various aspects of our lives, including privacy, security, fairness, and ethics. It involves analyzing the potential risks, benefits, and unintended consequences of deploying AI technologies in different contexts.

This course will provide you with the understanding and tools to conduct an AI system impact assessment, either in isolation or as part of an ISO/IEC 42001:12023 AI management system.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites, however it will be useful for delegates to read the standard before attending the course.
