The 2013 Medical Devices road show last week in America was a great success. This year’s programme covered a broad range of hot topics which are imperative to the medical device regulatory community. At these three one day events in California, Minneapolis and Boston, started in California on Monday 16th September where the sun shone and our delegates soaked up the knowledge from our Technical expert speakers.
At each event to reinforce the wider BSI offering there were dedicated work stations showcasing Entropy, Training, Medical Devices on Line and our Alliance partnership with the CSA. These allowed customers to interact with the experts and better understand the breadth and depth of BSI’s portfolio.
Throughout the week we had approximately 400 attendees split between existing clients, prospects currently with competitors and new entrants to the market. With a combination of multinationals, start-ups, consultants, with many thought leaders from the medical device RA/QA sector in the audience.
Initial feedback from attendees was extremely positive and it reinforced that BSI is recognised as the leading independent medical device certification/ evaluation body in North America.
The 2012 road show was very well received but the feedback from the 2013 event highlighted that we can continue to strive to make excellence a habit.
All attendees received a feedback form to enable us to measure the success of the event.
