Pollard Banknote Named BSI Canada’s 2016 Award of Excellence Winner

Canadian company is a leading lottery partner to more than 60 lotteries worldwide

BSI Group Canada Inc., a division of the world’s first National Standards Body and a founding member of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO), today announced that Pollard Banknote has been awarded the 2016 BSI Canada Award of Excellence for Management Systems.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba based company provides high quality instant ticket products, licensed games, and strategic marketing and management services for both traditional instant games and the emerging lottery space of web, mobile, and social channels. The company is a proven innovator and has decades of experience helping lotteries to maximize player engagement, sales, and proceeds for good causes. 

Pollard Banknote has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1996, OHSAS 18001 since 2004, ISO 14001 since 2007, and ISO 27001 since 2010. In 2017, they expanded their Information Security Management System scope to include their new Lottery Centre.

BSI Canada created the Award of Excellence in 2011 to recognize customers who excel in the implementation of international business standards. This year’s Award of Excellence judging panel consisted of a multi-disciplinary team at BSI Canada which interviewed clients, auditors, senior account managers, and other client facing personnel.
