Condoms holding the BSI Kitemark have been subjected to stringent independent testing against a high set of quality and performance standards. Batch samples are tested at BSI’s centre of excellence and, if successful, the corresponding batch is awarded the BSI Kitemark, demonstrating they are safe and reliable.
Not only are condoms tested for their safety during use, but they are also tested for their durability whilst packaged. Testing is carried out to replicate aging and storage of a condom once it leaves the factory – whether that’s sitting on a shelf in a shop for a specified length of time, in variable temperatures, or carried around in a wallet or purse.
