This one-day training course equips participants with the knowledge, skills and competencies to complete a threat assessment and document a robust Food Defence Plan using the latest PAS 96:2026 guidance to meet FSSC 22000 v7 requirements.
This course explores the evolving global threat environment by incorporating dynamic, intelligence-led approaches to food defence. It addresses emerging risks including cyber-physical threats, insider risks and vulnerabilities across complex supply networks so organizations can respond proactively to both current and future threats.
Participants will learn how to apply the TACCP methodology to identify, assess, and prioritize threats across their organization, operations, products, and supply networks. Combining theory with practical exercises, real-world case studies and hands-on use of threat and vulnerability assessment tools, the course enables immediate workplace application.
Aligned with FSSC 22000 v7 and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS’s), this course shows how food defence integrates with broader organizational risk management, including cybersecurity, business continuity and resilience planning.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to design risk-based, proportionate mitigation strategies and maintain an effective, up-to-date food defence system that reflects the guidance of PAS 96:2026, aligns TACCP with ISO 22002-100:2025 and meets regulatory and GFSI expectations.
