    Implementing a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) helps organizations strengthen their food safety performance and proactively manage food safety risks. Internal auditing is an essential element of any effective FSMS.

    This course provides you with the skills and confidence to plan and conduct internal audits based on FSSC 22000. You’ll learn how to initiate an audit, prepare and carry out audit activities, compile clear audit reports, and successfully complete follow-up actions – adding real value to your organizations food safety management system.

    • Anyone involved in the auditing, maintaining, or improving an FSSC 22000 FSMS.
      This may include staff in operations, technical, quality or management teams.

    • You should have a good knowledge of FSSC 22000 and the key principles of an FSMS. If not, we strongly recommend you attend our Understanding FSSC v7 Training Course or the FSSC 22000 v7 Transition Training Course (if you have previously attended a Requirements course to the previous version of FSSC 22000).

      You may also obtain a copy of ISO 22000:2018, Food safety management systems — Requirements for any organization in the food chain. 
       
      You may also obtain a copy of ISO 22002-100 Prerequisite Programmes on Food Safety - Requirements for the food, feed and packaging supply chain, and the relevant ISO 22002 Prerequisite Programmes on Food Safety relevant to your food industry sector.
