This on-demand eLearning course introduces ISO 22000:2018 and explains what a food safety management standard is and why it is necessary for all food organizations.

Overall, this awareness course will help you understand what food safety management is, why it’s important and how you can contribute to effective food safety in your organization.

This course will help you:
1. Understand why food safety is important.
2. Describe what we mean by a food safety management system.
3. Identify the benefits of food safety management in your organization.
4. Understand the impact of poor food safety.
5. Identify what you can do to support food safety in your organization.
6. Describe what a food safety management system, or FSMS, is.
Anyone who is involved in supporting your organization’s ISO 22000 food safety management system, or FSSC 22000 Scheme implementation.

This may include operations, technical and quality teams, human resource, engineering, logistics and product development teams and managers.
On completion, you’ll be awarded an internationally recognized BSI training course certificate.
