This training combines ISO 14001:2026 requirements and implementation, with a focus on leading an effective EMS. It provides delegates with: A clear understanding of the standard; practical approaches to implementation, including life cycle thinking, risk-based planning and management of change; and the leadership skills needed to drive performance through effective delegation, problem solving, and team motivation.
This course will enable you to:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of ISO 14001:2026 requirements
• Build the confidence to apply these requirements effectively within your organization
• Conduct a robust gap analysis and develop a practical implementation plan
• Understand the intent of each clause and how to apply it in practice
• Develop the leadership and management skills to drive effective EMS implementation, including change management and team engagement
• Demonstrate your knowledge through successful completion of the post-course assessment
Upon attending this training course, you’ll receive an internationally recognized BSI certificate of attendance, and upon successfully passing its required exam, you’ll receive an internationally recognized BSI certificate of achievement.

• The key concepts, principles and structure of ISO 14001:2026
• The terms and definitions used
• The main requirements of ISO 14001:2026
• Explain and apply a structured framework for implementing ISO 14001:2026 using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle
• Interpret the key concepts and enhanced requirements of ISO 14001:2026 from a practical implementation perspective
• Apply the core requirements of ISO 14001:2026 to establish, implement and maintain an effective Environmental Management System
• Identify and develop the documented information required to support effective EMS implementation and conformity
• Conduct a structured gap analysis to assess your organization’s current position and define an implementation roadmap

There are no formal prerequisites, however it will be useful for delegates to read the standard before attending the course.
