This two-day course provides an overview of the changes between AIAG APQP 2nd and 3rd edition AIAG APQP 2nd and Control Plan 1st Edition focusing on the tools, procedures and reporting requirements specified in the Advanced Product Quality Planning reference manual, detailing the critical steps in the Product Quality Planning Cycle. Also, how the Control Plan is an integral part of APQP process and a living document evolving to incorporate improvements and lessons learned as they occur, and built, according to the various stages of product development (Prototype, Pre-Launch, and Production).
Delegates will benefit by gaining, advancing or update their understanding of the AIAG APQP 3rd Edition and AIAG Control Plan 1st Edition reference manuals which update and replace the previous version (AIAG APQP and Control Plan Manual 2nd Edition).

On completion, you’ll be awarded an internationally recognized BSI training course certificate.
There are no formal prerequisites for this course, however, it is recommended that you should have the knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and the automotive core tools (PFMEA, APQP, Control Plan Methodology, MSA, SPC and PPAP).
