    Whether it is classroom training or on-the-job training, the design, development delivery and evaluation of training is essential to ensure that the right competencies are acquired and applied in the workplace. For training to be effective it must be participatory, focussed on the delegate needs and involve them actively in the training process.

    This three day training course equips trainers with up-to-date knowledge and skills. It enables them to deliver active training sessions that optimise learning.

      • How to link adult learning theories to training activities
      • How to conduct a training needs analysis (TNA) and use the results to inform planning
      • Establishing learning objectives, lesson plans and assessment tools
      • Devise a variety of methods for making lecture-based programmes active
      • Design, develop and deliver a training session to achieve set learning objectives
      • Multiple Intelligence theory - to create learning aids and materials
      • How to measure and evaluate training effectiveness
    • Individuals who wish to learn new techniques for delivering on-the-job training or in-house training, as well as the skills necessary for facilitating the learning process.

      Applicants for this course must have already completed Presentation Skills training.
