Environmental management is now a business imperative. Organizations are under increasing pressure to manage their environmental impacts, comply with evolving regulatory requirements, and respond to the expectations of customers, regulators, investors, and wider society.
This training course provides a structured overview of ISO 14001:2026 and the requirements of an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). Designed for those new to ISO 14001, it explains the purpose, structure, and key concepts of the standard, with a strong focus on practical application and organizational relevance.
The course highlights how ISO 14001 supports risk-based and lifecycle thinking, strengthens leadership accountability, and embeds environmental considerations into business planning and operational processes. The course addresses key emerging and long-term environmental issues, including climate change, management of change, and the alignment of environmental management with organizational strategy and business objectives.
By the end of the course, participants will understand both the requirements of the standard and the critical role environmental management plays in organizational resilience, long-term value creation, and addressing global environmental challenges.
