Established in Istanbul in 1949, BEYBI operates in five main product groups: Personal Protective Equipment, household gloves, work safety gloves, medical gloves and medical supplies. In the solid road map of becoming a world class manufacturing site, BEYBI targets sustainable growth with quality excellence. In April 2019, EN388 regulations have been implemented across whole Europe. The full portfolio of BEYBI gloves have been certified by BSI against CE certification in accordance with the new European regulations.
With the delivery ceremony held in June 2019, BSI Middle East and Turkey Business Development Manager Mr. Hanifi Baran handed over the CE certificates to BEYBI Quality Manager Mrs. Deniz Bozar.
Mrs. Deniz Bozar said about the certification process: “As BEYBI, our aim is to increase the sales and brand awareness in our target export markets. Having BSI CE certifications certainly proves our product quality as BSI is an internationally prestigious and well-known organization.”
Stating that they have adopted all steps of total quality management, Bozar adds: “We have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 10002 and ISO 17025 management systems. Thanks to our ambition for continuous improvement, R&D and innovation, we are the only glove manufacturer that has an official R&D center in Turkey. We also have our in-house laboratory accredited by the Official Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK). With this approach, we aim to respond to the needs of the day with having the latest technology and premium quality and service. We believe, working with the best solution partners is an important element for sustainable excellence. Therefore, we decided to work with BSI.”
