Bes A Elektronik has been operating in the emergency lighting sector for over 20 years producing emergency lighting units, emergency exit luminaires and emergency lighting luminaires. Completing BSI’s test processes successfully, Bes A has achieved being the first and only Turkish company having the certificate of Civil Defense in the UAE, Qatar and Oman emergency lighting markets. BSI’s META Region Business Development Manager Hanifi Baran handed over BSI Kitemark™ and the UAE Civil Defence Conformity Certificate to Beş A Elektronik’s General Manager Arzu Rona, Operation Director Erdinc Rona and Technical Manager Mustafa Gedik.
Arzu Rona explains why they choose to work with BSI as this “Since 2015, we have started mainly to work on exportation in the Middle East region. As BSI is one of the most prestigious certification body in the world and in especially in the Middle East region as well as having high standards, we decided to achieve BSI Kitemark certification. Due to the fact that the Emergency Lightings are the products that could affect the people’s lives, even if indirectly, our customers need to trust on our product besides the quality. The fact that BSI is accredited by the most respected international organizations provides complete confidence both for us and for our customers in terms of the credibility of the test processes and the BSI certificate given”.
