This training will equip participants with the additional practical tools that are essential to carry-out improvement initiatives at the shop floor. In addition to the foundations and basic tools learnt in Lean Practitioner program, this training takes participants through the details of Lean’s most commonly used tools and technique, namely SMED, TWI, Poka Yoke, and TPM.

What will I learn?
Upon completion of the programme, participants would be able to:
- Explain Lean principles and techniques
- Follow the techniques of each Lean tool (in the syllabus) and apply them in initiating, leading and managing improvement projects
- Recite the respective lean tools in details (objective, purpose and application)
What is included?
On completion of Lean Expert Training, with a minimum of 90% attendance, you will receive an internationally recognized BSI certificate of attendance.
Lean Expert certification requirements (Certified Lean Expert)
- Completion of Lean Expert Training with a minimum 90% attendance
- Pass all the final exam, and VSM Case Study Assessment
- Completion of 1 Lean project within 24 months of course completion
- Project Report submitted to and approved by BSI
- Projects savings/benefits achieved for the project must total more than RM20,000 per annum
- Project savings/benefits achieved to be validated and endorsed by participant’s organisation
Participants must be involved and contribute (analysis and implementation) to the Lean Project either as team leader or team member.
