This Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor training course teaches the fundamental auditing principles and practices, in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements.

By attending this course, delegates will also gain the necessary auditing skills through activity-based learning, and practical auditing experience with coaching, group workshops and open forum discussions. Experienced BSI tutors will guide delegates through the entire audit process; from initiation to conducting audit follow-up.

Successful completion of this training course, by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment, will demonstrate knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead an IMS audit.

You will sit a 2.5 hours exam to test your knowledge, and your skills will be continually assessed. You must succeed in both elements to pass the course.

You will learn to:
- Gain the skills to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011
- Identify the purpose and benefits of an IMS
- Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate).
Anyone with the need to audit an integrated management systems (IMS) against ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
You should have a good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements, and the key principles of a QMS, EMS and OHS. If not, we strongly recommend you attend our ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Requirements courses. It will also help if you have attended an internal or lead auditor course or have experience with conducting internal or supplier audits.
On completion, you will be awarded an internationally recognized BSI Training Academy certificate.
