Qualification aim

The ESG Manager Advanced Qualification aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to apply international standards and management systems across key ESG domains. The programme develops knowledge and skills to integrate technical frameworks into organizational practice, drive continual improvement, and strengthen ESG performance and disclosure.

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Explain the principles, requirements, and benefits of core ISO and related standards (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 37301, ISO 31000, SA 8000), and integrate them into organizational ESH strategies.
- Apply ISO 14064-1 methodologies for GHG accounting, define reporting boundaries, categorize emission sources, and set credible reduction/removal targets supported by verification processes.
- Establish, maintain, and continually improve environmental (ISO 14001) and energy management systems (ISO 50001) that deliver measurable performance improvements and compliance with international expectations.
- Apply ISO 45001 to safeguard occupational health and safety, and implement SA 8000 and ILO conventions to ensure socially responsible and ethical labour practices within organisational operations and supply chains.
- Use ISO 31000 to strengthen risk management processes, ISO 37301 to establish compliance management systems, and ISO 27001 to protect organisational information assets in line with ESG responsibilities.
- Integrate lessons from management systems to foster a culture of compliance, resilience, and accountability, supporting transparent disclosure, stakeholder trust, and long-term ESG performance.
