Risk Assessment is that structured part of Risk Management that identifies and analyzes the risk in terms of consequences and probabilities. It covers the logical and systematic methods in the identification, analysis , monitoring and review including communication of such risks.

Best practice risk assessment techniques have been used at different industries to capture the different sensitivities of the risk assessment process. The course intends to cover the various risk management objectives from risk identification to consequence analysis up to probability and impact assessments.

Select the most applicable risk assessment techniques relative to the availability of resources, complexities and extent of uncertainties; and,

The objective of this training program is to train the participants on the various risk assessment methods and techniques where the effort is to capture the most appropriate technique for the various application and steps within the risk assessment cycle.

Upon completion of this training, the participants will be able to:
- Perform Controls Assessment;
- Perform Consequence Analysis;
- Perform Likelihood Analysis and Probability Estimation;
- Perform Preliminary Analysis; and,
- Perform Analysis of Uncertainties and Sensitivities.
This training is designed for risk assessment and core team for IMS implementation that are assigned to carry out operational risk assessment efforts in the organization.

The participants are expected to have a background knowledge on at least one management system standard or have applied a risk management exercise in any of the management system standard, QMS Sectoral standards, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 27001, among others.
