The Lean concept is not a new one, originating from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, with the development of the production systems by Henry Ford and other producers. Key contributors to the evolution of the Lean concept are often introduced in literature and books such as by Eli Whitney, Taylor, Gilbreth, Henry Ford, Shingo, and Taiichi Ohno.
This interactive and highly practical one-day course will provide first-hand experience of the principles, methods, and some key tools of the Lean methodology that are used to affect continual improvement which is a goal for most organizations and a requirement of standards such as ISO 9001:2015.
Also, this course gives you the alignment of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Requirements with the activities and goals of a well-organized Lean Six Sigma program, as well as introduces you to the Lean Practitioner certification requirements under ISO 18404.
