The first step in making an operational transformation is developing Change Agents to drive this initiative. These Change Agents are called Lean Experts.
This training will equip participants with the practical knowledge on how to introduce Lean initiatives to the shopfloor. It takes participants through in detail the philosophies, principles and techniques of Lean. In addition, participants are also taught the details of initiating continuous improvement projects, project management and how to deal with implementation and change issues.
Upon completion of the programme, participants would be able to:
Flight 1 – 5 days
Flight 2 – 5 days
Flight 2 Lean Knowledge Assessment (Quiz and Value Stream Mapping & Analysis)
Managers, Engineers, Maintenance and Production Professionals and personnel responsible for production capacities, flexibility and responsiveness to meet demand.

Project Review Requirements
All projects shall be submitted within 6 to 8 months after the last day of classroom training.
The final report of project shall be in Word format converted to a .pdf format; and a Powerpoint format converted to a .pdf format and reviewed by BSI’s panel of assessors. The Powerpoint file simplifies the Participant’s project reporting at his/her organisation’s workplace because this pulls from the Word format’s numerous, detailed progress reports, and extensive background analyses. This condenses and visually communicates to his/her project proponents using graphs, charts, and succinct bullet points. Both reports converted in .pdf format shall be submitted to BSI for review and approval.
A Candidate is disqualified to be certified if the project is submitted beyond the due date. However, an overdue project is subject for justification and BSI approval. Once approved, Candidates shall sit in and pay the corresponding fee of a BSI Lean Expert Public Training class they need a review on (a minimum of one day) or a project review fee of Php 5,000 shall be required from the Candidates.
