Organizations that produce, manufacture, handle or supply products to various brands and retailers recognize the need to assure customers that their products are produced in an environment where the labour rights are recognized and safe working conditions are provided. Failures in the supply chain can not only be dangerous to customers but prove costly in terms of organisation reputation, financial penalties and shareholder value.
CSR Awareness Training aims to provide an introduction to CSR audits, typical code of conduct elements, common audit criteria/standards, a detailed understanding of CSR programs and its application based on basic rights of labour and working conditions, by identifying emerging social risks and managing implementation within your organization in a systematic manner.
BSI has developed this course to cater to the demands of the CSR implementers and auditees when facing such audits. This 2-day course provides an insight into recognizing a typical framework for implementing CSR /COC programs.
