AS 9104-1 – “Requirements for Certification of Aviation, Space, and Defence Quality Management Systems”, the standard that specifies how the AS 91XX scheme is implemented, has undergone a significant revision. The revised standard is expected to be published in Q4 2021. AS 9104-3 - “Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defence Auditor Training, Development, Competence, and Authentication”, was also recently revised, and generation 3 of the OASIS database is expected to be released at the end of 2021. If you’re certified to AS / EN 91XX, you’ll need to be aware of all these changes and make plans to prepare for your organization’s transition.
