If you have answered “yes” to most of these questions, we recommend you consider optimized manufacturing with one piece flow.
Optimized Smooth Flow can be achieved with the one-piece flow technique, where products are manufactured one piece at a time, right first time and without unplanned interruptions and long waiting times. It enables customers to get their products with less delay and at a shorter lead time. It also lowers the risk of damage and obsolescence and reduces excessive inventory on the production line.
This one day training course will provide participants with an overview of the principles and techniques to transform the traditional large batch approach to a Smooth Flow. In addition, participants get a simulated learning experience on how it is possible to ‘do more with less, through the relentless elimination of wasteful practices and non-value-added activities’ – producing profitable business results.
Our experienced tutors have practical application of the subject matter, enabling them to understand and meet your specific industry requirements.
Factory managers, engineers, and personnel who are responsible for productivity, quality and/or efficiency.
Automotive industry manufacturers: As per the IATF 16949:2016 requirements clause 7.1.3.1, organizations that intend to be certified to IATF 16949:2016 are required to practice synchronous material flow, which is among the key principles of Lean manufacturing. This course provides a good foundation on how synchronous material flow can be achieved in manufacturing.
On completion, you will be awarded an internatoinally recognized BSI Training Academy certificate.
