Organizations frequently have difficulty deciding how and where to get started on their Lean journey of organizational transformation. You may know there is room for improvement, but you are unsure how to pinpoint exactly what needs fixing and where to begin. Value Stream Mapping provides an ideal solution.

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a Lean visualization tool that helps you to model work processes and highlight the types and sources of activities that do not add value i.e. the wastes. An example of this is the Toyota Production System’s shop floor improvement mapping. More than a communication tool, VSM is also a strategic planning and change management tool.

This two day training course will take you through the techniques of VSM and how to establish an action plan.
