He has certified various Medical Devices and Electronic products for CE Mark compliance of EU Directives. Prior to joining BSI, he was the Operations Manager with DNV GL.

He has worked in a Fortune 100 MNC in Germany for Medical Device and IT products manufacturing and for a variety of IT & IT ES companies. He has over 10 years of experience in certification and training of Management Systems and has over 500 mandays of training and 2000 mandays audit experience.

Akhil’s educational background covers Engineering (B.Tech from IIT/Kanpur), Business Administration (MBA from FMS,Delhi Univ),Marketing Management (Diploma from IIM,Kolkata),International Trade (Diploma from IIFT), Information Security, Management Systems and Six Sigma. He is a certified Energy Auditor by Bureau of Energy Efficiency.He is a lead auditor for ISO 9001,ISO 14001,ISO 45001,ISO 50001,ISO 13485, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards, as well as a lead tutor for ISO 27001 and other Standards.
