    This Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor training course teaches the fundamental auditing principles and practices, in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements.

    By attending this course, delegates will also gain the necessary auditing skills through activity-based learning, and practical auditing experience with coaching, group workshops and open forum discussions. Experienced BSI tutors will guide delegates through the entire audit process; from initiation to conducting audit follow-up.

    Successful completion of this training course, by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment, will demonstrate knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead an IMS audit.

      • Identify the purpose and benefits of an IMS
      • Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate)
    • Anyone with the need to audit an integrated management systems (IMS) against ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018

    • Delegates who attend this course must have the following:

      • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
      • Knowledge of the following quality management principles and concepts 
      • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
      • Commonly used quality management terms and definitions and the 8 Quality Principles as given in ISO 9000
      • The process approach used in QMS, EMS and OHS
      • The structure and content of each standard, based on the process approach and PDCA
      • Knowledge of management systems auditing and ISO 19011

        If you do not meet the requirements above, we highly recommend attending the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Combined Requirements and/or ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Combined Internal Auditor
    • Each delegate must demonstrate acceptable levels of performance against all course learning objectives, which is evaluated during course activities. Performance is recorded daily by the tutor using the Personal Continuous Assessment Record (PCAR). In order to satisfactorily complete the course, each delegate must complete/attend all elements of the course, pass the continuous assessment and written examination.
      On day 5 of the course, you will sit a 2.5-hour written exam to test your knowledge, and skills learnt throughout the course.
