MSPO certification with BSI

Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) address sustainability issues and challenges in relation to the multi-stakeholders involve in the industry which complies with Malaysian laws and ratified international agreements.

The standard describes the sustainability requirements for the production throughout the supply chain from the raw materials until the transport to consumer and makes it possible for smallholders to establish, maintain and improve their operational practices within management system framework, which enables the approach towards attaining sustainable production of palm oil.

Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil Supply Chain Certification Standard (MSPO SCCS) was developed to deliver confidence and credibility to customers and end users that the palm oil they use in their products, businesses and homes is produced sustainably. Organizations can comply with MSPO SCCS through mass balance or segregation method with the relevant corresponding traceability attributes and declarations. MSPO SCCS requirements focus on your organization’s:

MSPO SCCS applies MSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard (MSPO SCCS)

MSPO certification scheme allows for growers (independent or organised smallholders or estates) or palm oil mills to be individually or collectively certified. Group certifications may be a single certification covering:

• a group of estates
• a group of mills
• a group of smallholders
• a combination of an estate, mill and/or smallholder

MSPO certification enables organizations to declare their products as sustainable.
