Improving quality, safety, security, and sustainability

Embedding quality and safety, information security, and sustainability at every stage of the automotive supply chain.

The rapidly changing automotive industry demands quality at every stage of the value chain. This is underpinned by stringent requirements that the automotive OEMs flow through the global network of suppliers.

At BSI, we work with supply chain partners around the world, including OEMs, manufacturers, software developers, transport operators, vehicle repairers and regulators. We’re supporting the industry to transition from the internal combustion engine to automated, connected, and electric vehicles (ACES), and providing assurance for innovative new technologies and mobility services.

From standards, training, and assessment, to certification, supply chain audits and software solutions, BSI can support you in these core themes:

  • Quality and safety – quality management, core tools, and functional safety
  • Information security – automotive cyber security, data protection, and privacy protection
  • Sustainability – greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and ethical supply chains

The infographic below highlights key stages of the automotive supply chain and signposts how we can help you achieve your goals at each stage.
