Marc Barnes

Marc joined BSI Group in 2005, moving into the role of Managing Director in June 2014. 

Marc started his career as a professional chef, gradually moving into business development and relationship management within the food safety/food services industry. He brings with him over 15 years experience in establishing strategic direction and improving business outcomes through people management, fiscal accountability and business growth. 


Charlene Loo

General Manager, Finance

Charlene Loo

Charlene joined BSI Group in November 2017. Charlene comes to BSI with over 20 years of finance and commercial management experience.  She commenced her career in professional services working as an auditor in Singapore and Australia, then moving on to the Construction, IT, Professional service and Education sectors, holding various leadership roles from Commercial Director for a SME to Divisional Director of Finance and Admin for Navitas Ltd, an ASX 200 company.   


Nicolas Carneiro

General Manager, Food

Nicolas Carneiro

Nicolas joined BSI Group in August 2015 as a Business Manager for the Food Division and was promoted to the General Manager position in July 2016. He is a graduate of the Institut Polytechnique Lasalle-Beauvais holding a Master of Engineering, Food and Heath/Marketing, Communication and Sales.

Nicolas started his career in the food industry as an Engineer and Quality Manager, gradually progressing into the role of General Manager commercial business operations.


Phyllis Chen

Head of HR

Phyllis Chen

Phyllis joined BSI Group in January 2016  in the role of Head of HR for BSI Group ANZ. She holds a Post Graduate Qualification in Commerce with a specialization in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and International Relations.

Prior to joining BSI, Phyllis has worked as an HR Professional for various organizations across the supply chain, logistics and freight sector looking after both Australia and New Zealand.


Chris Meehan

General Manager, Operations, Training and Client Care

Chris Meehan

Chris joined BSI Group as a Training Business Manager in 2010. He is a graduate of University of Surrey and Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Chris has experience in business development, marketing and people management roles in the UK across a range of industries including B2B Software, Pharmaceuticals and Professional Services. 


Paul Schofield

General Manager, Sales and Marketing

Paul Schofield

Paul joined BSI in June 2017, in his role as General Manager for Sales and Marketing, Paul is responsible for the team and delivery of Sales in our chosen markets, business streams and industry sectors to drive the strategic growth needs of the business.

With a strong sales and financial services background, working for organisations such as Macquarie Bank and GE Commercial, Paul has successfully led businesses through periods of rapid organic growth, acquisitions and joint venture partnerships as well as the GFC and other market and economic shocks. 


Stephanie Vincent

General Manager, Compliance and Risk

Stephanie Vincent

Stephanie joined BSI Group in October 2012 as an auditor for over 10 years, moving into the role of  the Professional Standards and Certification Manager. She has a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science (Food Science) and Diploma for Graduates (Food Science) from Otago University.

Stephanie has previously worked as a Managing Director of Right First Time Food Consulting.
