Acceptance sampling is a statistical procedure used in quality control. It involves testing a group of samples to determine acceptance or rejection of a batch or lot of products.
A wide variety of acceptance sampling plans are available, that can be categorized by the type of data measured; attributes or variables. A sampling plan involves three determinations:
This training course introduces a zero acceptance number sampling plan, whereby the entire batch of products is only accepted if no rejects are found in the sampling. A variety of zero acceptance number sampling plans based on MIL-STD-1916 will be presented and discussed.
