Design of Experiment (DOE) is one of the most effective improvement tools today. It is a strategic, enabling methodology to improve process yields and product quality. At the same time, it reduces the product development time and overall costs by changing one or more process characteristics after studying their effects on the product. In recent years, DOE has been used by quality practitioners as a key driver for many quality improvement initiatives including Six Sigma.

This course addresses all the essentials of DOE to ensure a successful implementation of this improvement tool. In addition, the application of Minitab software in DOE implementation could further enhance the analysis process.

This course is designed for front line managers, engineers or executives who are involved in quality improvement initiatives. Some basic statistics knowledge is required. In addition, it is also suitable for personnel who would like to learn basic Minitab software in DOE application.
