      The certification exam is scheduled separately and should be taken within two weeks after completing the 9-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training programme.


      How do I maintain my IASSC Green Belt certification?

      To maintain the professional designation of IASSC Certified Green Belt, participants are required to complete the IASSC recertification examination every three years.

      Is the IASSC certification exam included in the programme fee?
      Yes. The programme includes one PeopleCert IASSC certification exam voucher for the first examination attempt.

    • What is the CSSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification?
      The CSSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is awarded by The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) and demonstrates competency in Lean Six Sigma principles, tools and methodologies.


      What is the format of the CSSC Green Belt examination?

      The CSSC Green Belt examination includes:

      • 100 multiple-choice and true/false questions
      • Open-book examination format
      • 2-hour duration
      • Questions based on the CSSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge

      Participants are encouraged to use the official CSSC Self-Study Guide during the exam.


      What is the passing score for the CSSC Green Belt certification?

      To achieve the CSSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSC-CLSSGB) designation, participants must score at least 280 points (or higher) out of 400 possible points.


      How many attempts do I have for the CSSC examination?

      Participants are allowed up to three attempts to pass the CSSC certification examination.


      How long do I have to complete the CSSC certification exam?

      Once the examination fee has been paid, candidates have one year to successfully pass the certification examination.


      Is the CSSC certification exam included in the programme fee?

      Yes. The programme includes one CSSC certification exam voucher.

    • What is the BSI Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification?
      The BSI Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a professional qualification awarded by BSI that recognizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies through a completed improvement project.

      Successful participants also earn a prestigious BSI Mark of Trust that can be displayed on business cards, CVs and professional social media profiles.


      What are the requirements for BSI Green Belt certification?

      To achieve BSI Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, participants must:

      • Attend at least 90% of the Green Belt training programme.
      • Pass the Green Belt examination with a minimum score of 70%.
      • Complete the 5-hour Organizational Change Practitioner On-Demand eLearning course and pass the assessment.
      • Complete one Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project within 24 months of training completion.
      • Submit a project report for BSI approval.
      • Obtain organizational validation of project benefits and results.

      Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% in the Green Belt examination.


      Is there a re-sit option for the BSI examination?

      Yes. Participants are entitled to one free examination re-sit if they do not successfully pass the examination on their first attempt.


      Do I need to complete a project to achieve BSI Green Belt certification?

      Yes. To achieve BSI Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, participants must complete a Lean Six Sigma improvement project and demonstrate measurable business benefits that have been validated and endorsed by their organization.

      Can I participate in a project as a team member?

      Yes. Participants may contribute to the Lean Six Sigma project in either of the following roles:

      • Project Leader
      • Project Team Member

      To meet the certification requirements, participants must actively contribute to both the analysis and implementation phases of the project.
