This course provides delegates with a detailed understanding of the HACCP internal audit requirements specific to MS 1480 as well as concepts, roles and responsibilities of the internal auditor.
Internal audits are fundamental to all management systems as they are a means to establish status of conformity. This course advocates an integrated approach to minimize disruptions to operations, as well as a process risk and performance-based approach that is especially helpful in identifying weak links between processes and opportunities for improvement.

- Become familiar with a typical framework for implementing a food safety management system (FSMS). This should form a sound basis for your implementation efforts and benefit your organization
- Recognize where adjustments might need to be made to this framework, to accommodate your particular situation and progress made to date
- Gain the skills to conduct your own baseline review of your organization’s current position with regard to MS1480:2019, and implement key concepts and requirements relating to MS1480:2019.

Prerequisite
You should already have a knowledge of MS1480:2019 requirements. If not, we strongly recommend you attend our Understanding MS1480 course. The requirements of MS1480 are not covered in this course.
