David Fatscher, Head of sector (Environment, Social & Governance), British Standards Institution (BSI)

David Fatscher has over 30 years' experience in B2B/B2C publishing and digital media in a career that has included positions at Reuters Business Information and VisitBritain, the UK’s national tourism agency. He is currently Head of Sector for Environment, Social and Governance at BSI and engages with key stakeholders from government, industry and NGOs to define BSI's strategy for market-driven best-practice solutions on a range of topics including environmental management, energy management, waste and resource management (circular economy) and sustainable finance.

Nick Blyth, Senior Environment Manager – Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, Chair of ISO’s Climate Change Coordination Committee and a member of the Expert Peer Review Group for the UNFCCC Race to Zero campaign

Nick Blyth is Chair of the Climate Change Coordination Committee for the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and is Senior Environment Manager – Agricultural Climate Change at AHDB. Since 2014, Nick led on climate change, natural environment and Corporate Sustainability for IEMA and has developed profession-based evidence in support of major policy developments. He is experienced in developing climate change guidance and standards and is also a member of the Race to Zero Expert Peer Review Group. 

Julia Dreblow, Founding Director SRI Services & Fund EcoMarket

Julia is a passionate advocate for change.  She has worked in sustainable, responsible and ethical investment for over 25 years - focused on encouraging and helping financial services intermediaries to build sustainable investment into their businesses.

Julia has run her own business, SRI Services, since 2010.  Their focus is the ‘whole of SRI market’, Fund EcoMarket database and related adviser support.  This free to use service is supported by over 20 fund partners and was used by over 19,000 people in 2021.

Her work is specialised but diverse and includes working with Fidelity, Interactive Investor, Parmenion and RSMR.

Julia is also on the FCA’s Disclosure and Labels Advisory Group (DLAG), BSI (fund PAS 7342) sustainable funds steering group, the technical author of the PIMFA ESG Academy - and a former UKSIF director.

Julia previously ran the SRI area in Friends Provident (1996-2008), having first become involved whist at NPI (1989-1994).

Helen Edmundson, Deputy Director - Green Finance, Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra)

Helen Edmundson heads up the Green Finance team in the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, supporting the development of ecosystem service markets to significantly scale investment into natural capital.

An economist by background, Helen has spent much of the last 15 years working on international development, focused on the policies and partnerships needed for sustainable growth. Helen has a keen interest in the nexus between natural capital, climate and finance and has explored this in countries such Guinea-Bissau, Uzbekistan, Kenya and now the UK.
