Date: 4 May 2016 NEW SESSION
Location: Etc.Venues, 1 Drummond Gate, Victoria, London
Big Data represents a very substantial and fast-growing opportunity in the market today where research by the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) has estimated that it will benefit the UK economy by £216 billion by 2017 and result in the creation of 58,000 new jobs.
Currently there is little standardization in the area and our research report “Big Data and standards market research” examines the areas where there is a need for best practice. The report also covers an overview of the Big Data market and pertinent quotes from interviewees.
Big Data Standards Workshop
After the success of our first workshop on 3 March 2016, and to respond to the high demand for a second Big Data Standards Workshop, we're holding another session on 4 May 2016.
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss Big Data standards and define a final approach for how they should be moving forward. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts on what best practice is needed to develop an innovative, stakeholder-responsive and sizeable Big Data market in the UK.
