It is widely recognized that an efficient occupational health and safety management system promotes a safer and healthier working environment for everyone involved.
In response to the increasing demand for a global harmonized approach to health and safety, a new international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, ISO 45001, is under development and due to publish in October 2016.
To ensure users are involved throughout the process, we invite you to attend this one-day event where you can learn more about how drafting of the new international standard is progressing and get involved in the debate.
With updates from the committee responsible for presenting the UK view at international level, you’ll be a key part of the public consultation process and have a chance to comment on the next draft.
By attending, you’ll be able to:
- Gain early understanding of what the new standard will look like
- Take part in key areas of discussion and contribute to the UK view
- Question those actively participating in the drafting and development of the new standard
- Address concerns about how ISO 45001 may impact on organizations currently certified to OHSAS 18001
- Learn more about how to get involved in developing the standards which directly impact you and your organizations
