BSI Canada announces 2013 Award of Excellence nominees

Nominees demonstrate excellence in corporate culture and continual business improvement

(TORONTO – January 2014) – BSI Group Canada Inc., a division of the world’s first National Standards Body and a founding member of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO), has announced the nominees for the BSI Award of Excellence 2013.

“Business excellence is always an ongoing process, so it’s important we recognize leading companies and reinforce that return on investment,” said Gary Robinson, Commercial Director, BSI Canada. “Once again this year, we’re pleased the nominees represent a variety of industries and regions.”

BSI Canada created the Award of Excellence in 2011 to recognize customers who excel in the implementation of international business standards. Neptec Design Group Inc., an Ottawa-based aerospace company, received the inaugural award. Last year it went to Redline Communications, a global producer of outdoor wireless broadband radio systems.

Nominees are evaluated on their audit performances, quality management systems and business results, among other factors. This year’s nominees – ranging from engineering firms to IT solutions providers – share a commitment to excellence and raising the bar for competitors.

The 2013 nominees include:

  • Province Technologies Inc.
  • Intronix Technologies Corporation
