Maintaining your ISO 9001 system

You are already ahead with ISO 9001 certification. Now you can achieve even more. Discover ways to keep improving your quality management system.

Make the most of your certification

You can access a number of resources designed to help you get the most out of your quality management certification. Regular updates on the latest developments in the ISO 9001 series and other management systems will make sure you’re always up to date. You can also keep your skills relevant with our training courses . All of this, plus support from your client manager and business reviews, will help your organization to stay compliant and competitive, and to keep improving.

Promote your commitment to excellence

Once certified, you’ll be able to make your own mark by displaying the BSI Assurance Mark. It’s a valuable marketing tool that you can use to promote your organization. It signals a clear achievement and can offer a competitive advantage. We’re recognized globally as one of the most experienced independent assessors of best practice. That means you’ll also get international recognition as a business that achieves standards of excellence every day.

You’ll also be listed in our global Client Directory  alongside other leading organizations, helping you to open new markets, secure existing ones, and compete with confidence.

If you need assistance in displaying the BSI Assurance Mark, please email bsi.me@bsigroup.com or call us on +971 4 3364917.

Integrate to keep getting better

Now that your quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, you can use your quality management knowledge to improve other areas of your organization – such as environmental management. ISO 14001 is the standard for environmental management and it follows many of the same requirements as ISO 9001. That means you’ve already completed nearly half the work needed to certify to ISO 14001 as well.

And if you already have two or more systems in place, you can combine and streamline the way you manage processes. This makes them more manageable and eliminates the need to duplicate work. You can also try using PAS 99 as a framework to integrate systems to boost all-round performance.
