Digitalization, globalization and personalization of services, from booking a doctor’s appointment to internet banking, have led to greater collection and processing of personal information than ever before. Almost daily, we hear about data breaches on the news, where personal records have been compromised, this dynamic landscape brings privacy into sharp focus.
For this reason, we have launched the Privacy Series, to bring together key industry stakeholders, to facilitate a discussion and to share best practice with fellow peers. This series kicks off with our inaugural event on 25 June, our Privacy - Raising the Standard Conference. This conference will bring together thought-leaders to share their successes and lessons learnt in navigating the privacy landscape. Our next event is planned for November 2019 and will be the launch of ISO/IEC 27552.
The conference will focus on guidance for organizations in managing personal information and how this can assist them in demonstrating compliance with updated privacy regulations around the world, which is very powerful.
