Mr Fred Lam, Chief Executive Officer of the Airport Authority (AA), received the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) certification from Mr Enoch Lee, General Manager Hong Kong of the British Standards Institution (BSI) on 15 June 2018.
The AA's EMS covers all operations, systems and facilities under its direct control at HKIA. Implementation of the EMS commenced in August 2017 following a year of rigorous consultation with stakeholders and wrapped up with an external party audit by BSI in February 2018.
